Sprint Schedule Example

In sprint cohorts of 3-5 people, we meet online for Stage 1 to listen and learn from your team, then our team works offline and sharing updates with you until we have a complete concept design package that we present in a final conference call for Stage 5 Review.

  • Stage 1: Frame the Frontier
    Goal:
Define the challenge, the context, and the future horizon.

  • Stage 2: Scan & Distill Signals
    Goal:
Surface relevant drivers of change and emerging patterns.

  • Stage 3: Scenario Sketching
    Goal:
Create divergent, plausible futures for modeling decisions.

  • Stage 4: Implication Mapping
    Goal:
Translate futures into strategic insights, scenarios, etc.

  • Stage 5: Actionable Roadmap
    Goal:
Define next steps, decisions, and experiments.

In addition to fresh perspective and insights, we will give you:

  1. Original concepts and design artifacts.

  2. A summary industry report for your concept strategy.

  3. A powerful narrative to support your concept.

  4. A recording and transcript of your sprint session.

  5. A :30 sec video concept trailer to share with your stakeholders, on your website, or your social media.

At the end of your sprint, your team will have an accelerated view of your concept—months of work!—with just a few hours of your time.

Case Studies

“These sprints can help to catalyze or rejuvenate a project, saving valuable time and providing fresh perspective, ideas, and creative assets.”

“I would highly recommend this workshop to other organizations, especially those in the early stages of developing ideas that address complex issues. The conceptual design benefits are substantial, for participants from diverse backgrounds and personal journeys.”
