Pro Bono Sprint Application
Nov/Dec 2024 Cohort

For R&D purposes, we randomly offer our Imagination Sprints™ at no cost in limited cohorts to research and improve our program for our community and our partners.

All we ask of you is your participation and your honest feedback on our program.

If your team is not selected for a current cohort, you may be selected for a future session.

Your Sprint Schedule

All of our client partnerships begin with this early strategic imagination approach to creative, critical, and disruptive thinking.

In sprint cohorts of 3-5 people, we meet online Day 1 to listen and learn from your team, then our team works offline, sharing daily updates with you, until we have a concept design package that we present in another conference call on Day 5.

  • DAY 1 - Discovery / Conference Call
We establish the scope and objectives of your sprint and present our principles of conceptual design and applied or strategic imagination.

  • DAY 2 - Research and Analysis (Offline)
We conduct summary research of your organization’s industry and market to inform our conceptual design.

  • DAY 3 - Narrative Development (Offline)
We craft a powerful conceptual narrative around your sprint, bridge the gaps between your vision and the present, with a glimpse into adjacent, possible futures.

  • DAY 4 - Concept Generation (Offline)
We develop original concepts and design artifacts, adding more detail, ensuring alignment with your needs, and fine-tuning our designs with our narrative research.

  • DAY 5 - Presentation and Review / Conference Call
We present our developed concepts, share feedback for your team, and review possible next steps for the next-level.

Practice with the tools that can accelerate your impact.

In addition to fresh perspective and insights, we will give you:

  1. Original concepts and ‘artifacts.’

  2. A powerful narrative to build support for your concept.

  3. A transcript of your sprint session.

  4. A :30 sec video concept trailer to share with your stakeholders internally, on a website, or in social media.

Note: This is not a design project with reviews and revisions. Concepts are the steps that occur before and in between.

Conceptual design is open-ended, speculative, and focused on exploring possibilities. The primary goal is to generate visionary ideas and novel concepts that can guide long-term planning and decision-making. The emphasis is on originality. Concepts are meant for research, not for production.

At the end of your sprint, your team will have an accelerated view of your concept—months of work!—with just a few hours of your time.
